Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases of products from GUIG (“we,” “us,” or “our”) (“the site”) made through our website www.guig.ca. By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

1. Products and Descriptions
GUIG offers modern wellness and lifestyle technology products designed to support everyday performance and well-being.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours, specifications, and pricing displayed on the Site are accurate and complete. However:

Minor variations in appearance, colour, packaging, or materials may occur due to manufacturing, lighting, or display differences.
All products are intended for general wellness, fitness tracking, and lifestyle use only. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice; the price in effect at the time your order is placed will apply.
Payment is due in full at the time of checkout. We accept major credit/debit cards and other secure payment methods processed through trusted third-party providers.
By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

3. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

Placement of an order constitutes an offer to purchase; we are not obligated to accept it.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (even after confirmation) for reasons including pricing errors, product unavailability, suspected fraud, or other legitimate business reasons.
If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship only within Canada.
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (see our Shipping Policy for details).
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, holidays, incorrect addresses, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Title and risk of loss or damage pass to you upon delivery (or attempted delivery) to the address provided.
It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address. We are not responsible for lost or misdelivered packages due to errors in the address you supply.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty

We offer a 30-day return window starting from the date of delivery (see our Returns Policy and Limited Warranty for full details).

To be eligible for a return (non-defective items):

The item must be unused and in like-new condition
The item must be returned in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories
Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required

Return shipping costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective, damaged, or sent in error.
We reserve the right to refuse or deny returns/refunds that do not comply with these conditions.

6. Medical and Wellness Disclaimer
Important: GUIG products and any related content (on the Site, packaging, or marketing materials) are not medical devices and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or health condition.
The information provided is for general informational and educational purposes only and is used at your own risk. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider.
Always consult your physician or other qualified health professional before using any wellness product, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained from GUIG or the Site.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GUIG, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Damages arising from use or misuse of our products
Reliance on any information provided on the Site
Interruption, suspension, or termination of the Site or services

Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Site, products, or services is to stop using them and request a return/refund in accordance with our policies.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and design elements — is the exclusive property of GUIG or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, displayed, performed, published, or used for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, your purchase, or use of the Site/products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Alberta, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or placement of orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
